Eligibility Criteria

  • 3-Year LL.B: Any Graduate Degree (10+2+3 pattern) with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST).
  • 5-Year LL.B: Intermediate (10+2) with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST).
  • LL.M (PGLCET): LL.B / B.L Degree.

Exam Pattern

The exam consists of 120 questions for 120 marks (90 minutes duration).

  • Part A: General Knowledge & Mental Ability (30 Marks)
  • Part B: Current Affairs (30 Marks)
  • Part C: Aptitude for Study of Law (60 Marks)

Syllabus Breakdown

Part A: General Knowledge & Mental Ability (30 Marks)

History, Geography, Polity, Economics, Logical Reasoning, and Environmental Issues.

Part B: Current Affairs (30 Marks)

International and National events of importance, New Legal Appointments, Awards, and Sports.

How to Crack AP LAWCET?

  • Focus on Legal Aptitude: This section carries 60 marks (50% of total). Read about Indian Constitution, Torts, and Criminal Law basics.
  • Read Newspapers: Daily reading of 'The Hindu' or 'Indian Express' is crucial for Current Affairs.
  • Practice Mock Tests: Attempt at least 15-20 full-length mocks to manage time (90 mins).
