APSET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil the following eligibility conditions to appear for APSET 2026.
Educational Qualifications:
- Master's Degree or equivalent from a UGC-recognized university.
- General/EWS Candidates: Minimum 55% marks (without rounding off).
- BC/SC/ST/PWD/Transgender Candidates: Minimum 50% marks (without rounding off).
- Candidates who have appeared for their final year Master's examination and are awaiting results are also eligible (must pass within two years).
- Ph.D. holders who completed their Master's Level examination by September 19, 1991, are eligible for a 5% relaxation in marks (55% to 50%).
Age Limit:
There is no upper age limit for applying for APSET.

The APSET examination consists of two papers held in a single day. All questions are objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).
