How to Check SSC Selection Post Phase-XIV City Details
- Open https://ssc.gov.in/.
- Go to Candidate Login → ssc.gov.in/login (or the designated login linked in the Phase-XIV city notice).
- Sign in with your registration credentials (Registration Number and Password / DOB as prompted).
- Open the Phase-XIV/2026/Selection Posts city / exam details option.
- Note your exam city, and any date / shift cues shown.
- save a screenshot or PDF if the portal offers one — still wait for the Admission Certificate for centre entry.
If login fails, use only the official Forgot Password flow. never share OTP or password on Telegram “help” chats.
When and How to Download the Admission Certificate
As per SSC notice HQ-IT018/4/2024-IT (Comp. No. 10517), the Admission Certificate is tentatively available for download 2–3 days prior to the examination date through the same designated login.
When the link is active for your date:
- Log in again on ssc.gov.in/login.
- Open the Phase-XIV/2026 Admission Certificate / hall ticket notice.
- Download the PDF and print a clear colour or B/W copy. SSC does not courier paper admit cards.
- Verify name, photo, exam date, shift, reporting time and centre address.
- if the link still says “not available”, your 2–3 day window may not have started — retry closer to your allotted date rather than guessing from someone else’s schedule.

| Item | |
|---|---|
| Printed Admission Certificate | Mandatory — colour or clear B/W |
| Original photo ID | Aadhaar / Voter / PAN / Driving Licence / Passport (as listed on call letter) |
| Photocopy of the same ID | keep one spare if the centre asks |
| Passport-size photograph | 1–2 extras only if the admit card instructs |
| PwBD / Own Scribe papers | only if applicable; confirm mapping deadlines on ssc.gov.in |
Exam-day habits that usually help:
- Reach before reporting time, not merely before exam start.
- Complete biometric / photo capture as directed.
- Sit only at the allotted computer node.
- Leave mobiles, smartwatches and notes outside — follow the banned-item list on your call letter.
- negative marking rules (if any for your paper) follow the Phase-XIV notice — avoid random guessing without a plan.
Vacancies — Only
some education trackers mention around 2,919 vacancies and a large applicant count for Selection Posts Phase-XIV/2026. Prefer the tentative vacancy / notice PDFs on ssc.gov.in before relying on any third-party total. Vacancies can change until final allocation.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Treating city login as enough for centre entry
- Downloading a hall ticket from a random job app that asks for your SSC password
- Assuming you appear on all days from 16–26 September
- Missing Own Scribe / PwBD steps because a secondary deadline was not rechecked on ssc.gov.in
- Confusing Phase-XIV with older Selection Post phases or other SSC CBEs running in September
