- Qualification must be fully completed on or before 25 June 2026. Candidates still appearing in final exams are not eligible.
- Only UGC and AICTE-recognised degrees are accepted.
- Degrees obtained through distance mode from state universities outside Andhra Pradesh are not valid.

In several discoms, newly recruited Electrical AEEs must serve in prescribed rural/tribal or field postings for the first 5 years (including probation), often split between construction/MRT wings and operational rural offices. Transfer requests to headquarters may not be allowed during this period.
