Exact percentage and category rules are in the APTET June 2026 information bulletin. Confirm on tet2dsc.apcfss.in before relying on any secondary summary.
- Paper I: typically for Classes I–V teaching eligibility
- Paper II: typically for Classes VI–VIII teaching eligibility
- Qualifying marks / category cut-offs as in the official bulletin
- TET is eligibility — not a job offer; DSC is the recruitment stage
- Do not confuse regular APTET with Special APTET for in-service teachers
Courses & Admissions
- Teacher Eligibility Certificate (Paper I & Paper II)
Seat Allotment — How Merit Works
- No negative marking in the usual APTET pattern
- Final key after objections is used for scoring
- Qualified candidates receive a TET certificate / memo for DSC and other recruitments as rules allow
- DSC merit often uses about 80% TRT + 20% TET — confirm Mega DSC PDF when released

Mistakes to avoid
- Sharing login OTP / password with agents claiming to “download TET result” for a fee
- Confusing regular APTET with Special APTET (in-service)
- Treating TET pass as a DSC appointment letter
- Using unofficial answer-key PDFs instead of tet2dsc downloads
- Paying agents for “TET certificate verification” outside official portals
