- Visit ssc.gov.in → Candidate Result (or open the direct PDF links above).
- Download List of candidates provisionally shortlisted for FRTA —
ROLL_09072026.pdf. - Press Ctrl+F (Windows) or Cmd+F (Mac) and search your roll number.
- If listed, note your allotted post/department and read the writeup PDF for cut-off marks of the last selected candidate in your category.
- Book sliding slot between 12 and 14 July 2026 (by 5 PM) — mandatory for further processing.
Note: FRTA is a provisional allotment, not final appointment. Candidates must complete the sliding mechanism and identity verification to remain in the final result.

Merit for FRTA used normalized Paper-I marks and Paper-II marks (Mechanical and Electrical Paper-II scores were normalized with each other for common posts).
Sliding Mechanism — What Shortlisted Candidates Must Do
SSC has introduced a sliding mechanism to fill remaining vacancies and allow FIX or FLOAT options for provisionally allotted candidates.

Important: Missing sliding booking or failing to attend IV in person = treated as absent — candidature excluded from final result.
Tie-Breaking Rules (SSC JE 2025)
When two or more candidates have equal aggregate marks in Paper-I + Paper-II, SSC resolves ties in this order:
- Total marks in Paper-II
- Marks in Part (i) of Paper-I
- Marks in Part (ii) of Paper-I
- Date of birth — older candidate higher
- Alphabetical order of name
