Selection Process & Verification Rules
- Online Application Scrutiny: The District Selection Committee screens all submitted applications against the prescribed educational and local domicile benchmarks.
- Merit Determination: Marks secured in Intermediate (or equivalent qualifying examination) form the basis of the primary merit calculation. Additional weightage or preference is applied according to government guidelines for local residence in the Gram Panchayat / Ward.
- Physical Certificate Verification: Candidates provisionally shortlisted appear before the District Welfare Officer (DWO) / Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) committee with original certificates and two sets of attested photocopies.
- Final Selection List Publication: The District Collector & Magistrate approves the merit and selection list, which is displayed on the district notice board and portal.
- Appointment & Joining: Selected candidates receive appointment orders to join duty at their respective Anganwadi Centre within the specified reporting window.
This is not a written exam conducted by TSPSC; selection is strictly based on academic qualification merit, local residence, and certificate scrutiny.
