Medical / Physical Standards (SI group highlight)
For SI Civil, RSI, SPF SI, SFO, Deputy Jailor type posts, typical disqualifiers include colour blindness, squint, knock-knees, flat foot, varicose veins, stammering, hard of hearing, etc. Distant vision often 6/6 each eye and near vision 0.5 (Snellen) with full field of vision. Get a Civil Surgeon self-check before applying.
PMT/PET includes events such as 1600 m run (men) / 800 m (women), height, long jump / shot-put (weights differ for men/women). Some post codes use the run as qualifying only; others award marks. PMT/PET done once in a 3-month window can count across linked TSLPRB notifications.
