Route 2 Intermediate (or equivalent) + 3-year General Nursing Course + 6-month Midwifery training (Nursing Council of India recognized institution) + 3 years experience in a Medical College / tertiary-care hospital + AP Nursing Council registration

Desirable: BLS & ACLS training certificates; knowledge of computer applications.

  • Must be native to Andhra Pradesh (post Telangana bifurcation) — valid nativity/residence certificate from Tahsildar required

  • Must not be in a bigamous marriage
  • Must not have been convicted by a court of law
  • Selection is provisional pending certificate verification, antecedents check, and medical fitness

Additional Selection Rules

  • If total applications are fewer than 10, selection uses qualifying exam marks weightage + experience + interview (no CBT)

Experience Marks — How They Are Calculated

Eligible service: Government / Semi-Government / Public Sector hospitals with minimum 500 beds and statutory EPF/ESI compliance. Head of institution must issue experience certificate with EPF proof.
