From Section A of the notice. A dash means no seat in that category. Every row adds up to its state total, and the columns add up to the notice’s totals.

PwBD seats come out of the totals above. They are 25 for orthopedically challenged (OC), 9 for hearing impaired (HI), 1 for visually impaired (VI, in West Bengal) and none for the ID category. Most states have one OC seat; the notice lists the state-wise split.

The seats are provisional. The bank can post you in any district of the State/UT you choose.

Eligibility

Qualification

  • A graduate degree from a recognised university or institution.
  • Graduation must be completed on or after 1 April 2022, with mark sheets and a provisional or final degree certificate. Candidates who graduated before April 2022 are not eligible, and neither are those still waiting for their final result.
  • Give your percentage to two decimals. If your university awards CGPA, convert it using the university’s own norms, and bring that university’s certificate to document verification.

Age: 20 to 28 years on 1 October 2026

Category Upper age limit Born on or after (our calculation)
UR / EWS 28 2 October 1997
OBC-NCL 31 2 October 1994
SC / ST 33 2 October 1992

All categories must be born on or before 1 October 2006, our calculation for the 20-year minimum. Further relaxations:

  • PwBD: 10 years (UR/EWS), 13 years (OBC) and 15 years (SC/ST).
  • Widowed, divorced or legally separated women not remarried: up to age 35 (UR/EWS), 38 (OBC) and 40 (SC/ST).

You are not eligible if you:

  • have already done, or are now doing, an apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, with UCO Bank or anywhere else;
  • were terminated from an earlier apprenticeship;
  • have one year or more of training or job experience after completing your qualification;
  • are an ex-serviceman. The notice says ex-servicemen won’t be engaged and there’s no ex-servicemen reservation.

Local language: you must read, write, speak and understand one local language of the chosen State/UT. The language test is held at document verification. Your 10th or 12th mark sheet showing that language exempts you from the test.

How selection works

1. Online test (objective, 60 minutes, English or Hindi):

Section Questions Marks
General / Financial Awareness 25 25
General English 25 25
Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude 25 25
Quantitative Aptitude 25 25
Total 100 100
  • Minimum marks: 40 for General/EWS, 35 for SC, ST, OBC and PwBD. The notice doesn’t mention negative marking.
  • Taken at home on your own camera-enabled device, alone in the room (PwBD candidates may have help). You must show the Aadhaar card uploaded on NATS. BFSI SSC sends the link and login a day before. Answer patterns are analysed, and shared answers lead to cancellation.

2. Merit list: drawn state-wise and category-wise. On equal marks, the older candidate ranks higher.

3. Document verification and local language test, then a medical fitness check. The bank may also publish a wait list.

Points to check

  • Multiple applications: page 1 of the notice says two or more applications from one candidate “will be rejected”. The application notes later say that only “the last valid (complete) application will be considered”. Submit only one application to be safe.
  • Interview: the notice mentions call letters for a “written test/ personal interview”, but the selection process it describes has no interview: online test, document verification and the language test, then medical.
  • The notice spells Telangana as “TELENGANA” in the seat table.
