Eligibility Criteria

Counselling needs a valid AP ICET 2026 rank plus degree marks as notified — typically 50% aggregate for OC and 45% for SC/ST/BC (or equivalent). MBA: any recognised 3-year degree. MCA: any graduation (B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc/B.Com/B.A./B.Voc/BCA etc.) preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation. Indian nationals must satisfy AP local/non-local rules (G.O.Ms.No.20 Higher Education dated 12-05-2025). Distance degrees need UGC–AICTE–DEB recognition. Reconfirm the exact wording on CAP / the official notification.

Seat Allotment — How Merit Works

• Seat allotment uses AP ICET merit rank, category reservation, local area and the order of web options
• EWS 10% reservation needs MeeSeva EWS certificate valid for 2026–27 (OC only)
• Allotments are subject to university affiliation of the college/course
• Both online self-joining and physical college reporting are required after allotment
• If not allotted in First Phase, watch CAP for later rounds when APSCHE notifies them

After Seat Allotment — Reporting Checklist

1. If still needed today (5 Sep): finish CAP registration/fee, HLC uploads and web options before the portal closes
2. On 6 September: use CAP change-of-options if you still need to edit preferences
3. On 9 September: download the allotment order from CAP and check SMS
4. Complete online Self-Reporting on CAP immediately after allotment
5. Report in person at the allotted college with allotment order + self-joining report between 10 and 14 September 2026
6. Both self-reporting and physical reporting are mandatory — missing either can cancel the seat
7. Carry originals and photocopies listed in the notification
8. Pay college tuition / admission fee only at the official college counter
9. Attend classes from 10 September 2026 as per the revised schedule

Mistakes to avoid

• Missing either online self-joining or physical college reporting after allotment
• Skipping the 6 September change-of-options day if you still need to edit preferences
• Leaving registration or web options unfinished on 5 September — last day under the revised schedule
• Uploading unclear PDFs and failing HLC verification
• Paying agents instead of CAP / the allotted college’s official counter
• Confusing AP ICET with APPGCET or EAPCET counselling streams
