CKYC Services — Central KYC Registry (CERSAI)

Guides to Central KYC (CKYC): what it is, how to find your 14-digit CKYC number, and how to download your CKYC card. Find your task below.

Which guide do I need?

Start here: CKYC is not Aadhaar. It is a KYC record that banks, mutual funds and insurers can reuse, so you do not repeat the same paperwork.

What CKYC is (in plain words)

Central KYC lets banks and regulated entities reuse a KYC record instead of collecting the same papers again. Your CKYC number is not a secret OTP, but you still should not paste it into random “check KYC” sites that are not CERSAI / DigiLocker / your bank.

Download and search flows change when CERSAI updates screens. If a bank asks you to update CKYC, finish it through the channel they name — branch, their app, or the official CKYC path — not through a freelance agent on Telegram.

Quick questions

Is CKYC the same as Aadhaar?

No. Aadhaar is identity. CKYC is a KYC registry record used by financial institutions.

Will you find my CKYC number if I email you?

No. Use official search / bank channels. We never ask for OTPs.

Common problems

  • The CKYC card will not download. You may not have a CKYC record yet, or the mobile registered with your KYC has changed. Ask your bank or fund house to create or update it.
  • A bank asks you to update CKYC. Do it through the channel the bank names: its branch, its app or the official CKYC path, never an agent.
  • A website offers to check your KYC. Use only ckycindia.in, DigiLocker or your bank. Do not enter your details on look-alike sites.
