Points to check

  • Is EWS exempt from the fee? Section 9 and the FAQ say General, EWS and OBC (NCL) pay Rs 1,180, and only SC, ST, PwBD and ex-servicemen are exempt. The application instructions (A.4 and section D), however, say “SC/ST/EWS/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities” are exempt. We have followed section 9. EWS candidates should check what the payment page asks for.
